Your Privacy Choices

You control how your information is used on this site. This page brings every opt-out into one place — cookies, targeted advertising, the "sale" or "sharing" of data, and marketing email.

Last updated: 1 July 2026

In short: Aurora Stays does not sell your personal information for money. To keep your choices simple, you can still switch off advertising and analytics cookies, opt out of any "sharing" for targeted advertising, and unsubscribe from email at any time using the controls below.

1. Cookie & tracking choices

The quickest way to control tracking on this site is our cookie settings panel. It lets you accept or reject performance & analytics and affiliate & marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies stay on because the site cannot work without them.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, and opt out of many advertising cookies through industry tools such as YourAdChoices (DAA), the Network Advertising Initiative, and Your Online Choices (EU). To control Google advertising specifically, visit Google My Ad Center. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We recognise the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of cookie-based targeted advertising for that browser, without you needing to do anything else.

3. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of its use for "targeted advertising."

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some advertising and affiliate cookies may involve "sharing" personal information (such as online identifiers) for cross-context behavioural advertising under these laws. To opt out:

  • Use the panel and reject Affiliate & marketing cookies; or
  • Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser (see above); or
  • Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share."

4. Opt out of marketing email

If you ever receive marketing email from us, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any such message, or email [email protected] with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will still send essential service messages that relate to a request you made (for example, confirming a reservation enquiry).

5. Access, correction and deletion

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to know what personal information we hold, to receive a copy, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. Because most of the information you enter on this site is stored only in your own browser for the current session, you can remove much of it yourself by clearing your browsing session or using the "start over" links on the reservation and feedback pages. For anything else, contact us using the details below. Full details of your rights are in our Privacy Policy.

6. How to submit a request

Email [email protected], call +46 76 679 80 29, or write to PUBLIC INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES ApS, Jessens Mole 3A, 5700 Svendborg, Denmark (company number 35653635). Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and enough information for us to locate your data and verify your identity.

  • Verification. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm details before we act on a request. We will not use that information for any other purpose.
  • Authorised agents. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request; we may ask for proof of authorisation.
  • Response time. We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days and to respond within the timeframe required by your local law (for example, 45 days under the CCPA, which may be extended where permitted).
  • No discrimination. We will never deny you service, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

7. Region-specific notes

  • California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other U.S. states. You have the rights described above, including opt-out of targeted advertising and the sale/sharing of personal data, and the right to appeal a refused request by replying to our response.
  • Canada (PIPEDA). You may withdraw consent, access and correct your information, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
  • EEA, UK & Switzerland (GDPR). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings panel, with no effect on processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • Nevada. Nevada residents may direct us not to sell certain covered information using the email above.

8. Questions

If you are unsure which choice is right for you, email [email protected] and we will help. You can also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for the full detail.
